National Nutrition Month

March is National Nutrition Month, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is hosting an annual campaign in celebration. Throughout the entire month, they will be sharing tips and information to show the importance of healthy eating habits and the benefits associated. Here are 3 things to know about National Nutrition Month!

1. Personalize Your Plate

The message behind the 2021 campaign is that there's no one-size-fits all diet when it comes to food and eating habits. Every individual has a different body type, taste, goal, and lifestyle. To help teach you how to enjoy a diverse palette of foods, plan your meals, and consult with a Registered Dietiaian (RD), the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is launching weekly tips and tricks to share with you. 2. Make Nutrition Social

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is also hosting 4 live chats on Twitter throughout the month of March, where everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthy eating and physical activity habits. Click here to see the full schedule.

3. Celebrate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day
